Different global cultures entail different approaches to applied behaviour analysis (ABA). The ABA refers to a scientific discipline that entails methods across the learning theories to transform the degree of social significance. Different to behaviour modification, ABA emphasizes on various significant approaches to the interactions between the environment and social behaviours (Welch & Polatajko, 2016). Besides, it is greatly focused on developmental disabilities to enhance equality in society. Often, applied behaviour analysis is based on the deficits and excesses on behavioural factors that influence social significance. Both in traditional and modern global cultures, the applied behaviour analysis deals with diversity in society. The ABA has significant application in social issues like drug abuse, sexism, productivity, racism, and violence. It is also applicable in addressing issues of developmental disorders, neurogenetic syndromes, emotional-behavioural disorders, autism, and other behavioural disorders. The ABA plays a significant role in addressing developmental disabilities in the global culture.
If I plan to carry on cross-cultural research in ABA, I would choose non-traditional culture and address the issue of autism. Autism The reason is that it provides guidance on the categorizations of behaviour and controls the initiatives of changing behaviours. The advancing technology has contributed to increased issues of autism among the children (Welch & Polatajko, 2016). Many children are been born with developmental disorders and impairments in their interaction and communication abilities. The ABA can effectively explore the issue to reveal the main causes and the reliable strategies of preventing the autism disorder. Under this issue, the applied behavioural analysis would promote social aptitude as fundamental for socialization (Welch & Polatajko, 2016). Through the ABA, early interventions can be sought to address specific issues. Besides, it would enhance environmental restructuring to prevent chances of the disorder in the future. The ABA research would effectively address the issue of autism as affecting the society of today.
